If you want to hear some Byrd played on period intruments, have a look ( and a listen ) at www.gmn.com. There are recordings of Laurence Dreyfus and his group Phantasm play Byrd Fantazias and In Nomines, and lots more including some Elway Bevin, Purcell and Orlando Gibbens. Plenty to listen to for Early Music fans!

: William Byrd is the best composer England ever had, and my all time favorite. I am sorry his music is underappreciated these days. I am so glad God created Byrd, & he is my favorite person in history. I want to play all of his music.
