Realism
-focuses on true life, unlike Romanctism which focuses on the grand and impossible.
-most famous realist-Balzac and the "The Human Comedy"
-focuses on the characters lives rather than plot, and focuses on the middle cl rather than the poor.
-is much like naturalism except for a few differences, both are a reaction to romanctism.
-describes human behavior
-focuses on the here and now
IF ANYONE HAS ANY IDEAS ON HOW THIS RELATES TO GREAT EXPECTATIONS BY CHARLES ENS PLEASE POST! THANKS:)
