: In celebration of Wagner's birthday, Tristan Music, Inc. released a new CD by pianist/composer Daniel Abrams entitled Fantasie Variations on Tales of Love over the Internet site Allclassicalmusic.com. The original music (not transcriptions) was inspired by the operas of Wagner (Tristan), Purcell (Dido & Aeneas), and Weber (Der Freischutz) and written in the style of the period of which the composer lived. Thought you should know about this as the music is deeply moving and heartfelt, and the performance truly great. Nia
