I am singing in a quartet "Ex toto corde". We like to sing renaissance music, but finding the right reportoar is cifficult. The reason is that the four of us in the group are all females; 3 sopranoes and 1 mezzo. Nothing of the renaissance music is probably written for females originally, but there are a few pieces written for male high voices (boys and counter-tenors). If you know of a composer who has written a reportoar like that, I would really appriciate if you could mail me a message. If you have any opinion about females singing boys reportoar, you are wlecomed to respond to that as well.
