Franz: I would say the same as the other two. Op.10 no.1 is a very good exercise, but if you want to train the left hand as well I would recommend op. 25 no. 12
I played much better after having learned op.25 no. 12.
My piano teacher made me buy the Salabert stydy edition with studies made by the great old Chopin pianist Alfred Cortot.
If you want to hear Cortot play Chopin buy cd´s from the 1920´es or 30´s. His etudes from 1933 are much better than the ones from 1942.
