I believe the piece is Variations on"La ci Darem la Mano" op. 2. The theme is from Mozart's opera Don Giovanni. It's an early work, but one which brought Chopin to the attention of Schumann, among others.
: Yesterday on the classical station here in San Francisco, I heard something. It was quite amazing.
: I believe he said Eric Olsen on piano .. that was Chopin from Chi To Giovanni.
: I know something is wrong here because I cannot find this piece listed anywhere on Amazon or elsewhere. The piece sounds almost like a fugue -- one repeating refrain -- and maybe uses two or four pianos?
: Help?
