Margaret,
You will no doubt be interested to know that Leslie Howard has bought another Liszt New Discoveries CD. It includes material from the N5 notebook, containing another "Harmonies Poetiques et Religieuses" early version.
Hope this helps!
I've read Walker volume 4 (The Death of Liszt) and found it most depressing. Hopefully his next book on Liszt will be a little more cheerful!
Best regards,
Jonathan
