: any ideas about dada and modernism, how it links with surrealism and freud and dali??
forget about surrealism it was a parasitical leech that grew off the nutritious blood it siphoned from dada. dada is not surreal and neither is freud dada, dali was a tireless egomaniac and self promoter and one of the great modern artists maybe some of dali's work is dada, at least i relate to it that way. dada is instrumental in that it greatly effected most modern media and continues to do so .
