Could someone please help me identify the classical piece played during the opening of the Sherlock Holmes TV show? This is the British series produced by Granada in the 1980's, starring Jeremy Brett as Sherlock Holmes.
It's a WONDERFUL string piece that I've loved for years, and I'm hoping someone could identify it for me.
Thanks! :-)
