My vote for greatest performances (and recordings) of Vivaldi's music goes to the relatively new period orchestra 'Il Giardino Armonico'.
Their energetic and downright pionate readings of the music are unrivalled.. I have no doubt that this is the way that Vivaldi would have wanted his music to be performed.
