hey i know some stuff, though i kneed more for my report, ummm, the south went through much pain, as they suffered inflation, food shortage(a big one!), and mobs(mainly because of the food shortage). The reason for this shortage, is all the farmers were off fighting, but even the food they had, could not go to the market, for all the trains were being used as ammo and soldier trasnportion. The north suffer signeficantly less than the south, having a little inflation, but because they had the entire trade to the rest of the world, but the south was barred up by the north, so they lived off there own food.

I hope you find this interesting and helpful to your studys.
