1. Ink Jet cartridges can be recharged easily and freely with the correct ink. 2. It is in the interest of the manufacturer to portray the cartridges as non rechargeable. But it is actually for the manufacturer to force the customer to exclusively use the manufacturer’s supplies. In such no man’s land of conflicting inputs, manufacturers use ‘cautionary statements’ to inspire fear that using someone else’s supplies may damage the printer. (1) 3. The key is in the correct ink. In no way a correct ink, (that is ink chemically identical to the original) can damage a jet cartridge. 4. Our objective has been and is to create alternative printer supplies products. Our products reduce dramatically the cost of printing while, as proven by numberless testimonials, enhancing quality of printing and extending the life of printer(s). Ink Cartridges, Inc. offers 160 different types of jet inks. We can say with confidence, “Tell us the printer ad we’ll tell you the ink. 5. It is true that incorrect jet ink will result in poor printing and even printer damage. Unscrupulous companies providing poor inks give, in turn, a poor name to the re-manufacturing industry and the recharging process 6. There is a flourishing industry dedicated to recharging jet cartridges. If cartridges could not be recharged there would be no industry. 7. Some remanufactured cartridges are found even in stores. In general, re-manufactured cartridges do not travel well for a number of reasons. This is why personal recharging or local re-manufacturing is a better option. 8. Refilling a jet cartridge may seem mysterious because the interior of the cartridge is invisible. The mechanical and electronic architecture of a jet cartridge is indeed a matter of wonder. But correct refilling deals only and exclusively with correct ink. Injecting ink is what the manufacturer did when the cartridge was born. Injecting ink is what the user does when he recharges his/her cartridge. 9. In an ideal (printer manufacturer’s) world a jet cartridge will explode and self-destruct when 80-90% of the ink is consumed. Potential collateral damage has not made the solution feasible 10. The strategy of preventing customer from refilling has not being successful, so far. Manufacturers have devised and will continue to devise methods not only to scare but to prevent refilling. To date we have always devised appropriate counter-measures and our users are refilling their cartridges. We will continue our war against print-terrorizing costs. Our victory is your victory.
I was given the following instruction on how to refill ink and inkjet cartridges.
