It is often made mention that Hamilton was a supporter of a strong central government, however does this support of central government equal the support of big overgrown beauracracy? I do not contest his view of a strong central gov't that excersises the abilty to protect militarily and ist in the buliding of an economic infrastructure. I do reserve doubt that Hamilton would support our present tax burden and the eventual governmental uses of our monies that of which equals a swollen big gov't. This is just an idea I had so I wanted to write it down. I do intend on gathering some data that may or may not support my thesis. Stay tuned.
