To believe in something is to stunt our identity. (see my thought on identity at philosophy campfire).
When we believe in something we are handing over our responsibility.
We are responsible for our actions and our reactions.
As the Nazis believe in God, so do you. (I could use a more recent example.)
You can rationalise anything with belief.
For example- God told me to do it, whatever it is, could be mass murder for all I know?
What acts of putrifying mindlessness have you committed lately?
To get to the truth of things is to be without belief.
When we believe something it automatically denies other possibilities.
Should we not keep open minds?
If God exists we could not possibly know what she/he/it is, how dare you presume.
We can only know of God? what we can know of our selves and the world.
Don't you think you should search for your self and the world too know God? better.
I know my self and I know my relationships with the world, but I have never found any sign of It/Her/Him.
Get out there and experience the world before talking of God.
What makes your God right and anothers wroung.

: The endless round and round arguments about volition seem never

: Please visit the Orthodox Church and enter into a Liturgical service.
: Cultivate an adoration of the Mystery of Reverent supplication and humbly

: Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy upon us miserable sinners!
