: I'm a big CS Lewis fan. I've recently viewed the Shadowland's movie and read the Great Divorce and Screwtape. I'd love to hear from other fans!
Shadowlands was entertaining, but a bit off the reality of Lewis's real self (from what I've heard). There's lots of good books out there about the real relationship between Joy and Jack. For example, Joy had 2 boys and not just one. The Great Divorce is one of my favorite fiction stories from him. The dream-vision aspect of it brings to mind his Medieval Renaissance profession (see "Pearl" by The Gawain Poet for another vision of Heaven; perhaps an unconcious inspiration for Lewis to write The Great Divorce???).
